Review in Metallian
This is a pretty surprising album! Despite the fact that it’s on a metal label, this LP isn’t a metal album and sounds like a gothic opera! No guitars, no drums, no bass… only violin, keyboards and vocals! If you like Dead Can Dance and melancholic music, you won’t be disappointed because the nine songs of this album do sound like an opera, a sad opera with many different male and female voices. Pretty strange but really excellent – and it’s refreshing when you are fed-up with metal!
